My greatest professional strengths lie in my organizational and administrative skills, which is what allows me to excel at my passion for arranging large group travel excursions.
Whether my client is a family of ten setting out for a legacy discovery trip, or a 600-person corporation planning the annual convention, I thrive on coordinating every single detail of the adventure, including:
-
all special requests
-
securing the required travel documents
-
managing registrations
-
personally overseeing each itinerary
I will even escort your group as needed, by joining you for the entire trip as a guide and soon-to-be friend. I interface with all of the vendors along the way, attend the various events or meetings to ensure that all the clients’ needs are being met, and am on hand to troubleshoot any unforeseen occurrences.
I consistently strive to exceed my clients’ expectations, and this hands-on approach to every nuance of the trip allows me to do just that.
When I was young, my family traveled extensively across America and Europe. Prior to becoming a travel agent, business took me to Europe, Ireland, Brazil, and many other destinations that whet my appetite for a career that would allow me to help others explore the world. My wife and I have four daughters with whom we travel frequently. Sometimes my family and I take the same trip that I have planned for my client, which goes to show I plan your trip as though it were my own!
As St. Augustine wrote, “The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page.” Nothing gets my adrenaline pumping more than traveling to a place I have never been. My wife and I are going on a river cruise this summer that will include stops in Hungary, Slovakia, and parts of Austria.
I want to turn as many pages as I possibly can in this lifetime and help you do the same!

Five Reason Why Destination Weddings Rock
Sponsored by Delta Vacations
Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! After you answered the big question, you’re suddenly realizing that getting married involves a million new questions: What style dress should you wear? Should you invite odd cousin Lou and his constant knuckle-popping? How many ABBA songs should you play during the reception? (Answers: classic empire waist; no; three).
One of the first big questions to answer, though, is where will you get married. You can choose your neighborhood church, a dance hall in the big city, or maybe a destination wedding at some tropical island. Judging by the title of this article, we think you should choose the destination wedding. To show you why, here are five elements you’re going to love about saying your “I Do’s” far, far away.
1 - THE BUDGET
Do you know how much traditional weddings cost nowadays? The average wedding in the U.S. runs anywhere from $25,000 - $60,000, which is a sizable chunk of change for many young couples. One option is to run off to a Las Vegas wedding chapel and see if an Elvis impersonator can be your officiant. Or escape to an island resort, which is actually a reasonable alternative.
Many all-inclusive resorts in Mexico and the Caribbean offer affordable wedding packages that include the room, a personalized ceremony and reception to start, with additional items like a DJ and photographer at minimal costs. Some resorts, along with vacation package suppliers like Delta Vacations, also give you bonus incentives for bringing a wedding group down to their resort, making your overall cost even lower.
2 - THE GUESTS
At a local wedding, you’re expected to invite everyone. At a destination wedding, you’re only expected to invite your nearest and dearest. So there’s no stressing about which third-cousins or distant aunts you have to invite in order to placate the family. Instead, you bring along only those friends and family members you truly want to celebrate with.
Plus, you’ll have more time to spend with these lovely people. Many just-married couples often complain that they wish their wedding day could have lasted longer. It goes by in such a blur, they didn’t have time to touch base with everyone. At a destination wedding, you’ll have days to spend with your guests, quality time that will make the ceremony even more meaningful.
3 - THE OPTIONS
You want your big day to be uniquely yours—we get that. Thankfully, destination weddings come with a whole suitcase full of options for you to customize every little detail to your heart’s content. For starters, your travel agent and the resort’s on-site wedding planner can work together to provide a host of options, from special excursions for your bridesmaids and extra resort credit to spend at the spa during your stay, to color-coordinated beach wedding scenes and local entertainers.
The best way to discover all of the options a particular resort offers is to take a pre-wedding “test drive.” Some resorts offer these “test drives” at discounted prices, allowing you to experiences the resort first hand and to learn more about chapel locales, reception menus, ceremony types, beach options and more.
4 - THE PICTURES
While a common picture is worth a thousand words, a wedding picture is worth a lot more. And while you’re local church or that picturesque farm will have a lovely backdrop for your pictures, nothing compares to the snaps taken while you’re exchanging vows on a white-sand beach, the turquoise waves lapping in the background, palms trees swaying overhead. With so much beauty and romance baked into the destinations, the pictures will turn out to be priceless.
5 - THE PACKAGES
Your travel professional has many options at their disposal to make your destination wedding dreams come true. One such option they turn to time and time again is Delta Vacations. Creating complete travel packages that include air, accommodations, wedding venue, planning assistance and more, Delta Vacations makes it easy for you and your betrothed to relax and enjoy the moment to the fullest. Plus, their packages include excellent savings, flexible payment options and the chance to earn bonus miles.
